This may just be the easiest part of your week.
Everybody is stressed this time of year because of work, school, and just life in general. Squishy therapy balls are nice, and slime is the newest stim obsession. But what if you could have a nice smelling, moldable dough to play with when you got stressed? This is one of my favorite DIYs because it’s so easy and fun.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Hair conditioner
You can get most of these at the dollar store or for relatively inexpensive prices.
Initially, I messed up really badly and am not entirely sure what happened. The best way to do this is to put it on a piece of cling wrap and mix everything together that way! If you don’t, it will potentially turn out like this.
Mix one cup of cornstarch with half a cup of conditioner on a flat surface with your hands. If your dough seems super starchy and can’t pick up the leftover starch, slowly add more conditioner. If it seems goopy and runny, do the opposite.
Put your dough in a jar or wrap it in cling wrap. That’s it. It’s that easy. Take a deep breath and play with your new therapeutic dough. Plus it smells amazing.
Enjoy your new DIY dough and comment if you liked it!
