Fashion Do’s & Don’ts

Spring has sprung, and that means the weather is warming up and it’s time to break out our shorts and tank tops! Here are some things you should and shouldn’t do.

Skimpy outfits. Girls I have nothing against showing a little skin, but sometimes it’s WAY too much. You don’t need to wear a sports bra as a shirt. People will judge and potentially get the wrong impression of who you are.

Hard vs Soft. I don’t think it’s totally a bad idea. You can wear a light and soft shirt with a leather jacket and some dark jeans and amazing shoes, but don’t try TOO hard to make them work together, sometimes it can look like too much and borderline creepy.

Bright Colors. These are somewhat in right now considering it is spring time. With wearing bright colors, you have to be careful which colors you choose and how bright they are. For example, wearing neon pink and blue are totally acceptable. Try and stay away from neon orange and green, because those two colors can turn crazy fast. Have fun wearing these colors, and don’t be afraid to stand out!

Accessorize. PLEASE! I love it when someone pairs off a plain shirt, or a low cut shirt with a necklace, earrings, bracelets, and rings. These are a MUST but don’t over do it! A little goes a long way sometimes.

Print. Don’t be afraid to pair different prints! When done right, it looks nice, just don’t make yourself look like a print fairy. For example, when you wear printed pants, pair them with a plain shirt and plain shoes, or go out of your comfort zone and pair them with a fun shoe, as long as they match!
